Home Buyers Fair

The Home Buyers Round Table is pleased to announce that two home buyer fairs have been scheduled in 2008.

Spring Fair
May 3, 2008, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Financial Education Center

Fall Fair
September 6, 2008, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
American Family Insurance Corp Offices
6000 American Parkway, Madison

The fairs are FREE and open to anyone interested in learning about the home buying process. The fairs will offer first time homebuyer education classes in both English and Spanish, an opportunity to win a $3,000 down payment grant and there will be housing industry exhibitors on hand to answer any questions that you may have.

First Time Home Buyer Education Class Schedule and Descriptions

First time homebuyer education can help you understand the home buying process and make you more confident about the exciting and multifaceted process of becoming a homeowner. In addition, first time homebuyer education certificates are required for many downpayment assistance programs and by lenders to qualify first time homebuyers for mortgage loans. Participants will need to complete the following classes to receive their certificate: Budget & Credit, Financing Your Home and Role of a Realtor.
