    The City’s Community Development Division (CDD) works to ensure safe, decent, and affordable housing for Madison residents. CDD partners with developers and non-profit agencies to: increase affordable housing options; provide help to homeowners, renters, landlords and property owners; and support individuals experiencing homelessness. Through these efforts, CDD enhances household, neighborhood, and community stability.

    CDD supports sustainable homeownership for current and potential homeowners. CDD also provides resources to help renovate existing rental housing.
